Create space and stillness
Whenever Iām feeling overwhelmed, tired or stressed I find hugging a bolster helps me to feel more grounded and calmer.
Place your bolster or support vertically on your mat, then place a folded blanket on top.
From a kneeling position spread your knees a bit wider than your hips and slide the edge of the bolsters toward you.
Rest your belly, chest, forehead, or cheek on the bolster and allow your arms to drape either side of you.
Stay for three to five minutes or longer.
If you rest one cheek on the bolster, make sure you turn to the other side halfway through to create symmetry in your neck.
