Try alternate nostril breathing to create an oasis of calm. Practising for as little as 2 mins can help to shift your emotions, change your energy and help you to feel more grounded and centred.
Curl your index and middle finger into your palm
Close the right nostril with your thumb and exhale completely through the left nostril.
Inhale through the left nostril
Close the left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through the right nostril
Inhale through the right nostril
Close the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril. The completes one cycle. Continue for up to 20 cycles, finishing by exhaling through the left nostril.
